The Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST) is Saskatchewan's primary public institution for post-secondary technical education and skills training, recognized nationally and internationally for its expertise and innovation. More than 15,000 students were enrolled in SIAST programs in the most recent academic year; additionally, the organization drew almost 25,000 individual course registrations. The Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST) provides skills and technical training in the areas of Agriculture, Applied and Visual Media, Aviation, Basic Education, Business, Community and Human Services, Engineering Technology, Health Services and Sciences, Hospitality and Food Services, Industrial and Trades, Natural Resources, Nursing, Recreation and Tourism, and Technology. The Institute also offers over 25 apprenticeships, specialized Continuing Education courses and programs for nurses, and specific programs for unemployed individuals.
