The University of the Pacific provides a rare combination of small-university intimacy with advanced program offerings found at much larger universities. Pacific offers more than 80 majors to 3,500 undergraduates and 18 programs to 1,300 graduate and professional students. Pacific emphasizes hands-on learning through a variety of internships as well as research and service-learning opportunities. More than 100 student organizations, including 20 international clubs, offer ample opportunity for participation and professional development.
Pacific’s beautiful campus is located in the heart of Stockton in Northern California. A multicultural city of 300,000 residents and a climate of hot, dry summers and cool but mild, wet winters, Stockton offers numerous cultural and recreational opportunities, including Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Jewish, and Shinto places of worship. Within 175 km of the city are the world-famous destinations of Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, the Pacific Ocean, and Yosemite National Park.
